Module 2: INDIVIDUAL NOTES

We aren’t born knowing how to read and write - first we had to learn the building blocks of language. Music is a language like any other, and so we learn it the exact same way - starting with the alphabet. This module digs into the basics of the keyboard, and makes it easy to understand how this basic 7 note alphabet governs the entire musical language.

Module 3: SCALES

You will learn the 7 MAJOR SCALES, Why? Because every song you ever play will be written in one of these scales. (Minor & flat scales come in later Modules) BUT FIRST we master the 7 MAJORS: A-B-C-D-E-F-G. AND YOU’LL LEARN TO PLAY THEM IN 60 SECONDS.

Module 10: EAR TRAINING & ANALYZING YOUR SCORE

Now that you’re feeling solidly fluent in the language of music, we dig into how to analyze your piano pieces on the score. As I show you how to break down the music into very understandable and easy to achieve sections, you will be thrilled to discover that you ALREADY KNOW the basic building blocks of ANY song, no matter how challenging it seems at first glance. Learning how to dismantle the material this way (and hear what you’re seeing on the page) will enable you to easily make sense of ANY song in the future. Get your pencils ready.
